Youth Work

St Mary's attracts a large number of families (particularly, but not exclusively at the All Age worship at 9:30am).

We are also currently looking to hire a Youth and Children Minister. For more information about this role, please see our current vacancies page.

Toddlers and Pre-school children

For toddlers and pre-school children we have:

Sunday Clubs

The 9:30 service starts with everyone together, then children are invited to go to one of the four Sunday clubs arranged for different age groups.

Church Mice is for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. It takes place in term time in the St.Nicholas Chapel in church. During the 9.30 worship all the children have chance to leave the service to attend their special groups.

The Church Mice meet up then and follow a theme for each week; this could be a bible story, a festival, thank you for parents, hands, etc. There is listening and talking time, a story, songs, prayers and a craft activity, followed by some play time. Parents are free to leave their children if they would like to.

NTP is for children of age 4-6, and is held in the Church Hall across from St Mary's.

Sunday Brunch is for ages 7-9, and is also held in the Church Hall.

The The Next Doors for years 7,8 & 9 has it's own web page on this site.

We aim to have fun, eat pizza (and other nice things) and discuss some of the big issues of life, faith and God. This term we've been looking at: Magazines and Eating Disorders, our response to Global Warming, hearing about two members' trip to Tanzania. New members welcome. Contact Carol Ross on 01270 629909.
